الفصل 1,248
"ليس قبلما انتهى." روبين وقف و مسح تلك البقعة بباطن ساقة مرة اخرى، "لن اعلن عن حل ينجح مرة و يفشل اربعة." ثم ألقى العظمة الصغيرة التي كان يرسم بها، نفض يداه و بدأ يتمشى نحو الكهف، "اعتقد انه علي ان اكون ممتناً ان عين الحقيقة من الدرجة الرابعة لا تحتاج اكسيرات لتتفعل، و إلا اين كنت سأجد خامات او نباتات لها علاقة بقانون الحقيقة السيادي!"
(اه صحيح، انت يمكنك استعمال الدرجة الرابعة من عين الحقيقة، ماذا ترى بها؟!) ايفرجرين صفقت بقوة
روبين توقف و نظر للأعلى، عيناه الذهبيتان اخذت تتوسع و تضيق للحظات، قبل ان يرد ببطئ، "ليس كثيراً في الحقيقة... لا ارى شئ يستحق الذكر."
(ماذا تقصد؟) ايفرجرين امالت رأسها، ثم بدى و كأنها تذكرت شئ، (اوووه، يفترض بك رؤية الدرجة الخامسة!)
"صحيح، و الحزام اليافع لا يحتوي على الدرجة الخامسة من اي قانون." روبين رد مبتسماً، "منذ زيارتي الاخيرة للكهف، هذه اول مرة افتح عين الحقيقة ولا ارى الكثير، انه شعور مهدئ." ثم ابتسامته ذهبت تدريجياً، "لكن تلك الاشياء...."
(اي اشياء؟) نيري سألت بسرعة
هى لاحظت في كلامه شئ غريب، فهو ظل يقول انا لم ير الكثير، او انه لا يوجد شئ يستحق الكلام عنه.. لكنه لم يقل مرة انه لا ير أي شئ!
روبين حك شعره الكثيف و امال رأسه قليلاً، "...لا اعرف كيف اوصفها، انها انماط، مبهمة و ضخمة، كأني أرى حروفاً كالجبال احياناً و سريعة كالطير احياناً اخر، اراها تتراقص في جهة و تظهر ثم تختفي جهة ثانية، اراها تُنتج انماط اخرى بجانبها واحياناً تتحول لأنماط مختلفة... لا اعلم، انه كحُلم غريب يراه المرء بعد نومة العصر."
(...هل لديك تخمين عن ما هى تلك الانماط؟) سألت نيري بإستغراب شديد
"هممم لا اعلم بالتحديد، لكن ربما، فقط ربما... هذه هى انماط الدرجة الخامسة من القوانين السيادية؟" روبين ضيق عيناه قليلاً، "أعني، انها الشئ الوحيد الذي يمكنه ان يفلت من القواعد المفروضة على الكواكب، فتلك القوانين الثمانية كانت موجودة قبل نشأة الكون، كما انها ضرورية لإستمرار الحياة، بل واستمرار تواجد الكون كله، لا يمكن اقصائها عند درجة معينة."
(انت يمكنك رؤية انماط قوانين سيادية اخرى؟!) ايفرجرين صاحت بفرح
اما نيري فكانت مباشرة اكثر، (هيا اسرع و افهم ما ترَ، اين ستجد فرصة اخرى كهذه؟ عندما يترق الكوكب للحزام المتوسط، او تذهب انت للحزام المتوسط، ستعود لرؤية شبكة انماط لا نهائية تحجب عنك ما تراه الان!)
"اولاً انا لا اعرف ان كانت هذه هى انماط القوانين السيادية، ثانياً، لقد اخذت وقتي و بزيادة في دراستهم كلهم، لكن بلا فائدة تستحق الذكر، لا يمكنني رؤيتهم و دراستهم كما افعل مع بقية القوانين." هز روبين رأسه، "لو كانت هى فعلاً القوانين السيادية، فأخشى ان هذه قانون الحقيقة لن ينفعني معها... كما اكتشفت الزمكان بنفسي، سيكون علي اكتشاف البقية بدون الاعتماد على انماطهم."
"دليلي الوحيد ان هذه القوانين السيادية، انه عند التركيز جيداً بعين الحقيقة من الدرجة الثانية اتمكن من رؤية انماط للزمكان السيادي الثالثة، لكن عندما احاول استخدام عين الحقيقة من الدرجة الثالثة او الرابعة البحث عن الزمكان من الدرجة الرابعة، افشل، لا ارى سوى تلك الانماط المبهمة التي تستمر في الظهر و الاختفاء... القوانين السيادية غريبة فعلاً."
(...يا لها من مضيعة.) نيري تنهدت، لو تمكن روبين من رؤية القوانين السيادية كل شئ كان ليتغير، (ماذا الان؟ هل تخطط للبقاء هنا حتى تنتهي من المسار الخامس؟)
(اتركيه يبق كما يشاء، عندما ينتهي المسار الخامس سيحقق مجد و شهرة و غِنى بلا مثيل!) فتحت ايفرجرين ذراعيها على اخرهم
نيري هزت رأسها، (كنت لأتمنى ذلك، لكن هو ليس لديه ما يشاء من وقت...) ثم تكلمت بنبرة جادة، (ارجو انك لم تنس مهمتك، مالكي، حتى لو وجدت المسار الخامس ما تبق لك من وقت، لن يساعدك هذا في محنتك القادمة.)
بعد 900 عام من الان سيتحتم على روبين صنع امبراطورية مئوية و ربطها ببذرة المجرة، ثم بطريقةٍ ما يُعجل من ترقية نيهاري و يدفع بكل شئ نحو النطاق المتوسط.
و بما ان نيهاري ما يزال متبقي عليه عشرات آلاف السنين حتى يترق طبيعياً، هذا يعني انه امامه طريق واحد فقط... عليه هو، او احد سكان نيهاري الاصليين، ان يصبح كارثة عالم خلال الـ 900 عام القادمة!
"...لا اعلم من اين ابدأ حتى." حك روبين رأسه، "حتى لو اصبحت كارثة عالم بطريقةٍ ما، مع اني ما زلت لا اعرف كيف... كيف سأدافع عن امبراطوريتي وسط وحوش الحزام المتوسط؟ هناك لا يوجد قواعد تمنع دخول كوارث العالم و حالات الوصل للكواكب، في لحظة ترقي بذرة مجرة و حولها كمية كبيرة من الكواكب *الغير مملوكة* ستحاول كل الامبراطوريات الحصول عليه، فقط بضع كوارث عالم سيهدموا كل ما بنيته."
(...) نيري و ايفرجرين تبادلا النظرات، تلك كانت اكبر مشكلة فعلاً
بالفرض انه تمكن روبين من الوصول لـ 100 كوكب، ايجاد عتاد ازاحة كوكبي و جلبهم لنيهاري، بالفرض انه تمكن من الوصول لقوة كارثة عالم و كل هذا خلال 900 عام فقط... طالما لا يوجد كوارث عالم غيره، من سيحمي الامبراطورية؟
جزء من المهمة هو حماية نيهاري و امبراطورية البداية الحقيقية و الحفاظ عليها تحت سلطته حتى يصبح طاغوت!
الامر يكاد يكون مستحيلاً لدرجة انه... روبين قد يأِس بالفعل، لهذا يضيع الوقت هنا في صنع المسار الخامس في هدوء، بدلاً من المحاولة اصلاً؟
حك روبين ذقنه الكثيفة لبضع ثوانٍ، ثم شدها و نظر للأسفل نحوها، "...اعتقد اني مكثت هنا طويلاً بما يكفي."

“Not until it’s finished.” Robin stood up and wiped the spot with the inside of his leg again, “I’m not going to announce a solution that works once but fails four times.” He then dropped the small bone he was drawing with, shook his hands and started walking towards the cave, “I guess I should be grateful that a 4th-order Eye of Truth doesn’t require elixirs to activate, otherwise where would I find ores or plants related to the Sovereign Truth Law!” (Oh right, you can use the fourth degree of the Eye of Truth, what do you see with it?!) Evergreen clapped loudly. Robin stopped and looked up, his golden eyes widening and narrowing for a moment, before he slowly replied, “Not much really… I don’t see anything worth mentioning.” (What do you mean?) Evergreen tilted her head, then seemed to remember something, (Ooooh, you're supposed to see the fifth degree!) “True, and the youth belt doesn’t contain the fifth degree of any law.” Robin replied with a smile, “Since my last visit to the cave, this is the first time I’ve opened the Eye of Truth and I haven’t seen much, it’s a calming feeling.” Then his smile gradually faded, “But those things…” (What things?) Neri asked quickly. She noticed something strange in his words. He kept saying that he didn't see much, or that there was nothing worth talking about... but he never said once that he didn't see anything! Robin scratched his thick hair and tilted his head slightly, “…I don’t know how to describe them. They are patterns, vague and huge. It’s as if I see letters like mountains sometimes and fast like birds at other times. I see them dancing in one direction and appearing and then disappearing in the other direction. I see them producing other patterns next to them and sometimes they transform into different patterns… I don’t know. It’s like a strange dream one sees after an afternoon nap.” (…Do you have a guess as to what those patterns are?) Neri asked in great surprise. “Hmm, I don’t know for sure, but maybe, just maybe… these are the fifth-order patterns of the Sovereign Laws?” Robin narrowed his eyes slightly, “I mean, they’re the only thing that can escape the rules imposed on planets. Those eight laws existed before the universe was even created, and they’re necessary for the continuation of life, and indeed the continuation of the entire universe. They can’t be eliminated at a certain level.” (You can see other sovereign law patterns?!) Evergreen shouted happily. Neri was more direct, (Hurry up and understand what you see, where will you find another opportunity like this? When the planet moves into the middle belt, or you go into the middle belt, you will return to see an infinite network of patterns that obscure what you see now!) “First of all, I don’t know if these are the patterns of the Sovereign Laws. Second, I’ve taken my time and more studying them all, but to no avail. I can’t see and study them like I do the rest of the laws.” Robin shook his head, “If they are indeed the Sovereign Laws, then I’m afraid this Truth Law won’t help me with them… As I discovered spacetime myself, I’ll have to discover the rest without relying on their patterns.” “My only proof that these are sovereign laws, is that when I focus well with the second-order Eye of Truth, I can see patterns of third-order sovereign spacetime, but when I try to use the third or fourth-order Eye of Truth to search for fourth-order spacetime, I fail, I only see these vague patterns that keep appearing and disappearing… The sovereign laws are truly strange.” (…What a waste.) Neri sighed, if only Robin could see the Sovereign Laws everything would have changed, (What now? Are you planning to stay here until you finish the fifth path?) (Leave him as he pleases, when the fifth path is over he will achieve unparalleled glory, fame and wealth!) Evergreen opened her arms wide to the last of them. Neri shook her head, (I would hope so, but he doesn't have as much time as he wants…) Then she spoke in a serious tone, (I hope you haven't forgotten your mission, Maliki. Even if you find the fifth path in your remaining time, it won't help you in your upcoming ordeal.) 900 years from now, Robin will have to create a Centennial Empire and link it to the Galaxy Seed, then somehow accelerate Nihari's promotion and push everything towards the mid-range. And since Nihari still has tens of thousands of years left to evolve naturally, this means he only has one way to go… he, or one of the original Nihari inhabitants, must become a global disaster within the next 900 years! “…I don’t even know where to begin.” Robin scratched his head, “Even if I somehow become a World Disaster, though I still don’t know how… How would I defend my empire among the Mid-Belt monsters? There are no rules preventing the entry of World Disasters and Planetary Links. The moment a Galaxy Seed promotes and there are a large number of *unowned* planets around it, all the empires will try to obtain it. Just a few World Disasters will destroy everything you’ve built.” (…) Neri and Evergreen exchanged glances, that was really the biggest problem Assuming Robin managed to reach 100 planets, find planetary displacement equipment and bring them to Nihari, assuming he managed to reach the power of a World Disaster and all of this in just 900 years... As long as there are no other World Disasters, who will protect the empire? Part of the mission is to protect Nihari and the True Beginning Empire and keep it under his control until he becomes a tyrant! It's almost impossible to the point that... Robin might actually give up, so he's wasting time here quietly making the fifth path, instead of even trying? Robin scratched his thick chin for a few seconds, then tugged it open and looked down at her, “…I think I’ve been here long enough.”
